Your fishing charter Captain is Tony Vultaggio, a bonified fishing pro who has spent his life on the waters evident as he shares his passion and knowledge. Tony is a safety-first captain who is U.S. Coast Guard Licensed and First Aid/CPR Certified. When Tony is not taking charters, he is one of the area’s top commercial fishermen. He is out on the water most every day and knows where the fish are biting.
As a Santa Barbara native, Tony has over 27 years’ experience fishing, boating and taking charters in the Santa Barbara Channel and the Channel Islands. In addition to knowing the best fishing spots for different types of fish, Captain Tony is intimately aware of coastal weather patterns and nuances of the sea. Since safety is always on his mind, you can take it off yours and focus on having a great time with your family and friends.

“For Christmas, my son Travis gave me the gift of a fishing charter aboard Capt Tony’s boat. It was one of the best Christmas gifts I have ever received. I am from SW Florida and have fished Baja, the Channel Islands, the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and fly-ins in NE Canada. Captain Tony rates at the top of for hire.
He took us out on a cold December morning and put us on rock fish within seconds of the bait hitting bottom. He kept us on fish for the two hours it took to catch our limit of 10 each, (60) beautiful mixed rock fish. He had ample bait aboard and all the tackle necessary. All we had to bring was food and drinks.
