Like anything in life, there are good days and then there are GOOD days.

Today’s charter fishing trip was a GOOD one. I had two couples hop aboard Rock Steady in the early morning. After getting settled in, we worked our way up the coast and fished somewhat close to port… a tip from a fellow angler.

It paid off big time! It was a steady pick on 2 to 4 pound vermilion Rockfish along with a few dandy size chuckleheads mixed in.

We reached our limits by 11:30 AM and decided to look offshore for something larger and more elusive. No luck but the water and day were wonderful so we called it a day and headed back to the barn by 2 PM.

Did I ever tell you I love my job!!
