santa barbara fishing report march 14 2018March is happening and I’m a happy guy. I love it when people return to us for a great time on the water. My clients were in town for a business convention and wanted some time on our spectacular waters.

Our trip on March 14th was a rare afternoon 1/2 day fishing charter trip. The winds were up that afternoon, about 12-15 knots and a few scattered showers. We got lucky as the seas eased up and we hit some of my favoriteĀ spots for rockfish.

The gang had theirĀ reels working hard as they landed 28 average size rockfish which are perfect for such dishes as Panko fried rockfish, or Lemon Basil rockfish with sage.

It was a great trip that left everyone happy for the experience.
