I think I am still catching my breath from all the sport fishing charter trips we hand in August. WOW!

First I want to thank all everyone for choosing to come out fishing with me. I hope you had as much fun with me as I did with you.

Variety is my word for all the August sport fishing trips. There were 1/2 day trips, full day trips. We fished close to the coast and we fished the Channel Islands. Guests caught lots of fish including rock cod, ling cod, halibut, treefish, Sheephead, and even a Mako Shark… that was exciting.

Overall, the weather was great all month. We had some foggy mornings that opened to blue sky days and we had a lot of just plain spectacular sunny days. Sometimes we take it for granted what an amazing place we live. Santa Barbara rocks!

We had a lot of families this month. Moms, dads, sons, daughters, grandfathers, and grandmothers all came out for the fun of fishing off the Santa Barbara coast and the Channel Islands. One group was especially sweet as we celebrated our fifth year together. It is such an honor to help create family memories.
